JAMMU, Dec 17: BJP J&K In-charge All Cells, Rakesh Mahajan here today said that the Party has decided to celebrate the forthcoming birth anniversary of former Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee on December 25 with much fanfare and in this regard all programmes have been finalized.
Chairing a meeting of Conveners and Co-conveners of all Cell, Mahajan informed that Party’s all Cells have decided to celebrate Atal Ji’s Jayanti with great enthusiasm by organizing several programmes on the theme of ‘Digital India’, ‘Gati Shakti’ and ‘One Earth One World’ at Jammu, Kathua and Udhampur districts.
The senior BJP leader informed that on December 19, the Party will observe Goa Liberation Day at Vaid Vishnu Datt Sabha, Jammu in order to remember the supreme contribution of the freedom fighters from J&K who struggled hard for the liberation of Goa from clutches of Portuguese.
Ved Prakash Sharma laid stress upon all the Conveners and Co-conveners of Party Cells to gear up for the upcoming programmes.
Jammu District Conveners, Anil Gupta and Ajit Yogi were also honoured on this occasion.
