JAMMU, Jan 6: Reinforcing its commitment to the welfare of the displaced community, a delegation of the BJP Kashmir Displacement District (KDD), led by district president, Rajiv Pandita, conducted an extensive tour of Ganga Nagar and Bharat Nagar in the Bantalab area today.
The visit was aimed at assessing the ground-level challenges faced by residents and ensuring that the party remains a steadfast advocate for their developmental needs.
The delegation, which included several senior functionaries, focused on the specific civic and administrative concerns prevalent in these localities. Ganga Nagar and Bharat Nagar fall under the jurisdiction of the Prem Nath Mandal (KDD), headed by Mandal president, K.K. Koul, who briefed the leadership on the priority issues requiring immediate intervention, including infrastructure maintenance and essential service delivery.
During his interaction with the local residents, Rajiv Pandita emphasized that the BJP KDD is dedicated to the principle of Antyodaya and Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas policy of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi wherein Karyakartas ensure reaching the last person in the queue. He listened the grievances presented by the inhabitants and assured them that the party would take up them with the concerned authorities. He further guaranteed that a mechanism for timely redressal would be activated to ensure that the residents do not face prolonged inconvenience.
Mandal president, K.K. Koul who briefed the party leader of the problems said these localities have been totally neglected by respective departments.
Delegation comprised of vice president KDD Bushan Lal Raina , secretary, Surinder Bhat , Mandal general secretary, Sunil Sher ,Ravinder Bhat, Yuva Mocha vice president, Vatsal Bhan, Mahila Morcha Karyakarta, Shashi Bhat , Sunita Tiku, secretary KDD, Shiban Kachroo ,Chaman Lal ,Bansi Lal , general secretary PN Bhat Mandal, Veer Thaploo , Neeraj Koul and others.
