JAMMU, Sept 13: Dr. Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia, spokesperson of Jammu & Kashmir BJP, came down heavily on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for its open patronage of anti-national and anti-social elements, charging the party with giving top positions to individuals with the most tainted police charge sheets.
He also warned the people of Punjab and elsewhere against the divisive and anti-national and anti-social conduct of Aam Aadmi Party.
Dr. Abhijeet was addressing a press conference at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, today. He was accompanied by Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, media in charge J&K BJP, and spokespersons Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu and Parimoksh Seth.
Dr. Jasrotia exposed the hypocrisy of AAP leader, Sanjay Singh, stating that while Singh tried to shield AAP MLA Mehraj Malik by waving certain documents, his own record makes him the “most tainted politician” with as many as 22 FIRs registered against him, far more than even Mehraj Malik.
“A leader with such a dubious record has no integrity to testify for others. In fact, this is the very character of AAP, its office bearers and representatives seem to be history-sheeters, as if having criminal records is a prerequisite for elevation in the party,” he charged.
Lambasting Sanjay Singh further, Dr. Jasrotia said Singh came only to spread lies. Referring to Singh’s remarks that Fiaz Ahmad Nazar was a terrorist, he clarified that even the administration had confirmed that Nazar’s name was falsely confused and at the time he was merely a student. “This proves how casually AAP picks issues, without facts, only to instigate the atmosphere and befool the public. After deceiving the people of Delhi, they are now attempting to mislead people elsewhere, including Jammu & Kashmir,” he said.
He accused AAP of deliberately trying to create communal wedges, asserting firmly that BJP will not allow such designs to succeed.
