BJP should answer on situation in J&K: AAP

NEW DELHI: AAP today said the BJP should answer why the situation in Jammu and Kashmir was getting worse.
On separatist leader Masrat Alam, whose supporters raised “anti-India” slogans and hoisted Pakistani flag during a Srinagar rally, party leader Ashutosh termed the situation ”deplorable and condemnable”.
”Any person who is involved in ‘anti-national activities’ should be arrested and brought to justice,” the AAP member said. Masarat, whose supporters had waved Pakistani flags at a Srinagar rally addressed by him, was arrested in the city this morning. He was earlier put under house arrest last night.
Hardline Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani and some other senior separatist leaders have been put under house arrest since last night to prevent any law and order problem in the Valley, where the amalgam had called for ‘Tral Chalo’ today. (AGENCIES)
