JAMMU, Aug 26: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held protest against former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for her pro-Taliban remarks.
The protestors led by social activist and BJP leader Baba Chanchal Singh raised slogans against Mehbooba Mufti and demanded her arrest for anti-India statement.
Singh has appealed to the Prime Minister to put Mehbooba Mufti behind the bars and initiate probe to unearth her links with terrorists and pro-separatists groups.
“Mehbooba Mufti should tender apology to the nation for her anti-India statement”, he said, adding that Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti always tried to disturb the peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
