JAMMU, Dec 5: Former Minister and Congress contesting candidate for Suchetgarh Assembly segment, RS Chib today alleged that BJP and PDP are leading the State towards disintegration and communalizing the peaceful atmosphere in the State.
He said both the parties are giving irresponsible statements to woo the voters and garner the vote bank in favour of their candidates in Kashmir as well as Jammu forgetting that their lust for winning maximum seats may disturb the prevailing peace in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
“BJP seems to have completely diverted from its earlier stand which the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and some of his incumbent Cabinet Ministers were trumpeting during the Lok Sabha elections including its promise to abrogate the Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, UT status to Ladakh, time bound solution to the issues of West Pakistani, Chhamb Refugees and PoK refugees, sending back KPs to the valley, etc but the same is missing from the party’s so called ‘vision document’ which it released some days back”, said Chib during his election campaign in the constituency.
Launching a scathing attack on PDP in the State, Chib said that it is known to all that PDP has a Kashmir centric agenda and will never work for the issues of Jammu province but the voter have become much clever than these leaders and will never let them to be successful in their nefarious designs.
“Congress stands for the unity and integrity of the State and it was 2 years and 8 month of Congress Government when all the three regions of the State got the focused attention as far as development and other issues were concerned”, Chib said and appealed voters to come out of their houses and vote maximum in favour of Congress for the overall development of the State.
