JAMMU, Apr 28: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the only party which has raised the issues of Kashmiri pandit migrants in the Parliament and also extended helping hand to mitigate their sufferings.
This was stated by Fayaz Ahmed Bhat, BJP candidate for Srinagar Parliamentary constituency while addressing series of public meetings at Jagti Township, Muthi, Pamposh Colony, Janipur and Patoli today. Incharge election committee, BJP Migrant cell, T N Bhat was also present.
No party has taken issues of Kashmiri migrants except BJP for the past over two decades, he said, adding that KPs were ignored by both Central and State Governments.
Migrants have lost faith in NC-Congress coalition in J&K as the regime has done nothing for the welfare of KP community, he alleged.
He appealed the KP electorates to case their vote in favour of BJP candidate to strengthen the hands of Narinder Modi for becoming Prime Minister.
BJP Migrant Cell president Bharat Bushan Bhat Gosani, Bal Ji Koul besides many others expressed their views.
