NEW DELHI, 11 April: BJP National President Nitin Nabin, along with thousands of party workers and representatives from hundreds of social, civic, and business organizations, on Saturday attended the Kirtan Samagam and offered prayers following the demise of Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva’s father Shyam Lal Sachdeva, who had passed away on April 7.
Addressing all present at the prayer meet, the BJP National President paid tribute to late Shyam Lal Sachdeva on behalf of the entire BJP family, and said that Sachdeva’s contributions as a social worker and to the party reflect a deep sense of dedication, which is clearly visible in his family.
Meanwhile, former BJP National President and union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda has said that everyone has gathered to remember a great soul who lived a meaningful social life and fulfilled family responsibilities with dignity.
Union Ministers Dr. Jitendra Singh, Giriraj Singh, Harsh Malhotra, BJP national office bearers Baijayant Panda, Arun Singh, Tarun Chugh, Vinod Tawde, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma, MPs Manoj Tiwari, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Bansuri Swaraj, RSS Coordinator Dayanand, Delhi VHP president Kapil Khanna, Noida MLA Pankaj Singh, NDMC Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Palam 360 chief Chaudhary Surender Solanki and many other dignitaries were present at the prayer meet.
On behalf of the Sachdeva family, Krishna Sachdeva (Delhi BJP chief’s mother), expressed gratitude to everyone for their condolences.
Virendra Sachdeva reiterated that the family is deeply grateful for the continuous support received since April 7, adding that it is a source of strength in this time of grief.
