SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly toay witnessed noisy scenes with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Members shouting anti-Pakistan slogans and demanding action against the neighbouring country in the backdrop of increase in militant activities in Kashmir valley.
The BJP Members also called for an aerial bombing on militants camps which Pakistan is operating in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). As soon as the Lower House resumed functioning, BJP Members were on their feet demanding a resolution against Pakistan following increase in militant attacks in Kashmir valley. The BJP Members also raised slogans like ‘Pakistan murdabad’.
BJP Member Ravinder Raina, who was the first one to raise this issue, said the House should pass a resolution against Pakistan which is responsible for the killing of eight Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans in Pampora attack and also for the killing of several state police personnel in the past couple of weeks.
“Our central government should also launch an aerial bombing on militants camps which are being operated in PoK.
However, Independent MLA Er Abdul Rashid said that the BJP Members should also demand action against security force personnel responsible for the killing of five civilians in Handwara, who were protesting against alleged molestation of a girl by Army jawan. Speaker Kavinder Gupta later condemned the attacks. (AGENCIES)
