JAMMU, Oct 24: Sushma Sharma, wife of BJP MLA from Vijaypur Assembly constituency and former minister Chander Prakash Ganga, passed away early this morning.
She was 62.
According to the family members, Sushma Sharma suffered fatal heart attack in the wee hours at Chandigarh where she had gone to visit an ailing relative.
Later, the body was brought to her residence at Sarore and the cremation was held in the late afternoon. A large number of people from different walks of life, besides senior BJP leaders, attended the funeral and paid their last respect to the departed soul.
Besides her husband Chander Prakash Ganga, Sushma Sharma is survived by a son and a daughter.
