JAMMU, Feb 9: Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha today announced its District Jammu South (RS Pura) team during a programme held at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, here.
The announcement was made in consultation with Member of Parliament J&K BJP president Sat Paul Sharma, general secretary (organization), Ashok Koul, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa (State president, Minority Morcha) and Naresh Singh Jasrotia (District president, BJP Jammu South).
As per the announcement, Gurdeep Singh is District president, BJP Minority Morcha, Jammu South while Kuldeep Singh, Jagjeet Singh, Gurpurab Singh and Atamjeet Singh have been nominated as vice presidents. The post of general secretary has been entrusted to Deedar Singh and Master Narinder Pal Singh.
The newly appointed secretaries include Avtar Singh, Manjeet Singh, Amrik Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Devinder Singh. Amandeep Singh has been appointed as IT Cell In-charge while Satbir Singh will look after Social Media responsibilities. Karamjeet Singh has been nominated as the spokesperson of the district unit.
Further, Harmohander Singh has been appointed as office secretary and Manjeet Singh has been entrusted with the responsibility of treasurer.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa expressed confidence that the newly constituted team would work with dedication to strengthen the Minority Morcha at the grassroots level and promote the BJP’s vision of inclusive development and social harmony in Jammu South district.
The programme concluded with a call to the new office bearers to actively engage with minority communities and contribute towards the party’s organizational growth in the region.
HS Pummy (Prabhari, Minority Morcha JK UT), Azaz (Seh Prabhari) and Gurdeep Singh (District president, Minority Morcha) were present on the occasion.
