BJP marks 47 years of service to the Nation: Baru

JAMMU, Apr 7: BJP has completed a journey of 47 years with sole aim of serving the nation.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former JMC Councillor, Sanjay Kumar Baru while addressing a meeting here today in Ward 41.
The meeting was attended by BJP Shakti Kendra Parmukh, Bubesh Sharma, local leader, Jatin Sethi, Vinod Wazir and booth president, Rajan Radhey.
Upcoming programmes especially ‘Samrasta Divas’ celebrations on the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on April 14, 2026 were discussed in the meeting.
Speaking in the meeting, Baru said that BJP’s journey from ideological roots to becoming world’s largest political organization reflects dedication and sacrifices of its workers.
“Leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee were not only great statesmen but also visionary leaders who succeeded in unifying opposition parties under one umbrella and earned acceptability across the party lines, even among political opponents,” he maintained.
The BJP leader claimed that NDA Government under the leadership of PM Modi has ensured strong national security, welfare of the poorest along with many other developments.
BJP leaders Rakesh Sharma, Onkar Verma, Babu Ram, Lokesh Bhagat, Gian Sharma, Brijesh Sharma, Ashok Kangan, Dr Parmoo, T.N Koul and others were also present in the meeting.
