JAMMU, Mar 19: BJP general secretary and former Minister, Sunil Sharma, party district vice president Kishtwar, Ravi Kumar Thakur and OP Parihar, Mandal president, Dachan have made an appeal to Lt Governor, J&K, Manoj Sinha to redress the other problems of the people of the area which have been highlighted by them before LG recently and for which a memorandum was also handed over to him.
In a joint statement they complimented the LG for sending a team of the officials to the area for installation of mobile towers as there was no connectivity in the area urged him that the other demands be also settled on priority basis.
The demands included expediting work on Dachan road, sanctioning of Degree college for Dachan, setting up of JK Bank Branch in the area, creation of separate education zone for Dachan, establishing of office of Sub Divisional Magistrate for six months at Dachan, continuation of services of VDCs in future too, promotion of tourism in the area and upgradation of PHC Dachan with all medicare facilities.
