JAMMU, Apr 3: J&K BJP president and MP (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma CA, chaired a series of organizational meetings at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, to review ongoing activities and finalize preparations for the party’s Foundation Day on April 6.
J&K BJP vice-presidents. Bharat Bhushan, Rakesh Mahajan, and Rekha Mahajan, general secretaries, Sanjita Dogra, and Gopal Mahajan, former Minister, Bali Bhagat, former MLA Ashwani Sharma, former Mayor Rajinder Sharma, Secretaries, Reema Padha, and Pawan Sharma, All Cell Incharge, Ved Sharma, senior leader, Parduman Singh, and other senior leaders of party were present in the meeting.
Sat Sharma took a comprehensive review of the party’s organizational structure and ongoing programmes. He appreciated the efforts of party leaders in successfully organizing Prashikshan (training) camps at various levels across Jammu & Kashmir, stating that they play a vital role in strengthening ideological clarity, leadership skills, and organizational discipline among party workers.
Sharma stressed the importance of continuous capacity building, noting that well-trained cadre is the backbone of a strong and effective organization. He directed leaders to ensure that these training initiatives are conducted regularly and effectively at booth, Mandal, and district levels.
Sat Sharma, while reviewing the preparations for the upcoming Foundation Day, elaborated on the detailed schedule of programmes to be organized across the Union Territory from April 5 to 12. He instructed party leaders to ensure proper decoration of all party offices, hoisting of the party flag, and organization of booth-level gatherings with maximum participation.
Sat Sharma stated that the BJP was founded with the sole aim of serving the nation and society. He said that party’s sole mission is to work tirelessly for the upliftment of every section and to take India to the position of Vishav Guru. Every BJP activist must see himself or herself as an institution, committed to the ideals of nationalism, service, and good governance, he said.
Sat Sharma further added that these Foundation Day activities are part of nationwide efforts where BJP workers actively engage in public outreach, flag hoisting, and social initiatives, reaffirming the party’s commitment to “Nation First” ideology.
