BJP holds meet of JMC Councillors

JAMMU, Sept 20: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held meeting of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillors’ here at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, today.
Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, BJP State vice-president & Councillor, Pramod Kapahi, BJP State general secretary, Dr. Narinder Singh, JMC Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta, JMC Dy. Mayor, Purnima Sharma and JMC Chairman & district president, Baldev Billawaria addressed the meeting, which was attended by almost all the BJP Councillors from JMC.
Kavinder Gupta, while addressing the meeting, asked the Councillors to act as responsible public representatives and keep working with dedication to strengthen the party. He asked them to work on ground in accordance to the wishes of general masses. He, while stressing on maintaining of discipline, said party discipline is cornerstone of BJP and key to success. He guided the Councillors on the issues of development and sanitation.
Dr. Narinder Singh, asked the JMC Councillors to work with honesty and dedication. He said that BJP is built on the strong organizational principles. He said that the present popularity of party is due to efforts that have been put by generations of dedicated workers. He prompted all to work for the extension of party principles and ideology in the public while working for the development of the region. He also provided details of the forthcoming party programmes to all the Councillors.
Chander Mohan Gupta, in his address, said that a big responsibility lies on the heads of JMC Councillors. He said that Councillors have to work hard to fulfil the aspirations of the common masses. He assured the leadership that they will work with full dedication for the development of the city and bring a good name to the party.
