JAMMU, June 17: As part of the nationwide campaign “Viksit Bharat Ka Amrit Kaal – Seva, Sushasan, Gareeb Kalyan Ke 11 Saal”, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir organized a series of grassroots-level programs including Mandal-level Sankalp Sabhas, Shakti Kendra Choupals and Ayushman Card Distribution Camps across various districts in the Union Territory.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents and party workers.
J&K BJP president, Sat Sharma addressed a Shakti Kendra-level Choupal at Jallo Chak in the Kunjwani area of Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said, “Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has witnessed a remarkable transformation over the last 11 years. Whether it is empowering the poor through welfare schemes, strengthening governance at every level, or reaching the last man in the queue with essential services, the BJP remains committed to Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas. Today’s Choupal reflects our resolve to take Modi’s vision to every home in J&K.”
Earlier, an Ayushman Bharat Card Distribution Camp was held under the Abhiyan by the BJP’s Kashmir Displaced District (KDD).
The camp was graced by BJP general secretary (Organization), J&K, Ashok Koul, who interacted with beneficiaries and party workers.
Ashok Koul, while speaking at the camp said, “The BJP-led Government has translated welfare into action. Ayushman Bharat is not just a health insurance scheme, it is a life-saving initiative for crores of underprivileged citizens. Our responsibility is to ensure that every eligible beneficiary receives their card without hassle. These camps are vital to achieving 100% saturation.”
The ongoing programs under the Abhiyan are part of the BJP’s commitment to spreading awareness about the achievements of the Modi Government over the last decade and to mobilize public participation in shaping a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
Among others who were present during the events included Ayodhya Gupta, Naresh Singh Jasrotia, Ajay Partap, Raj Kumar, former MLC Girdhari Lal Raina, Rekha Mahajan, Puneet Mahajan, Rajiv Pandita, Chandji Bhat, Pyare Lal Pandita, Osheen Pandita, Heera Lal Bhat and ML Bhat.
