“India has climbed from the 10th to nearly the 4th largest economy globally, as projected by the IMF. This journey reflects not just economic growth but real impact on people’s lives,” Gupta said.
He cited poverty alleviation as a key achievement, stating that over 25 crore Indians have risen above poverty due to schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat. “These figures reflect a silent revolution at the grassroots,” he noted.
Gupta underlined the Government’s focus on marginalized communities, including SCs, STs, OBCs, and women. He highlighted initiatives such as the Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana, scholarships under the National Fellowship Scheme, and health coverage through Ayushman Bharat. He also lauded the rise of women-led development through Self-Help Groups and the success of ‘Lakhpati Didis.’
Yudhvir Sethi pointed out that Jammu has witnessed significant improvements in roads, healthcare, education, and civic amenities. He attributed much of the transformation to the Centre’s digital governance push, which has improved transparency and service delivery.
Rajesh Gupta appreciated the media’s role in bridging citizens with Government schemes and building informed public discourse.
Simultaneously, BJP leaders held similar press briefings in other organizational districts, including Akhnoor, Doda, Ramban, and Rajouri. Leaders like Dr Nirmal Singh, Shakti Raj Parihar, RS Pathania, and others echoed the sentiment, describing the Modi era as one of unprecedented development, youth empowerment, and public service grounded in the vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.
