JAMMU, Nov 11: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri today said that BJP, with to its ideology, commitment to serve people, able administration and good governance besides the way it is handling internal as well as external affairs, has attracted many political stalwarts in recent past and is proving to be a political movement to reckon with, especially in Jammu and Kashmir.
Referring to the recent joining of political leaders and businessmen like Devender Singh Rana, Surjit Singh Slathia, Danish Mishra and former president Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Jammu, Y. V. Sharma in BJP, Raman Suri said that seeing Prime Minister Narendra Modi deliver well and make India blink on international maps of tourism, economy, healthcare, defence and industry, these leaders have realised that none other than BJP is committed to the development of nation and welfare of its people.
He said that BJP-led Government at the Centre has not only floated several programmes and policies aimed at giving common people homes, electricity, water, good healthcare, education, massive infrastructure and sense of security but also ensured that the same are implemented in letter and spirit without pilferage. This is for the first time in the history of India that a Government at the Centre is functioning in the most transparent manner and has done away with corruption and nepotism.
These are just a few deeds that are attracting political stalwarts into the party fold, Suri said, adding that Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed a sea change after abrogation of Article 370, which is why many political leaders are joining BJP to become part of this journey that is aimed at serving people irrespective of their caste, creed, region or religion.
