JAMMU, Mar 6: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Jammu District held its session with Gandhi Nagar Mandal office bearers at the party headquarters, here today.
The meeting was organized by Neeraj Lucky Puri, President Gandhi Nagar Mandal while Vinay Gupta, BJP District President Jammu chaired the meeting, in which BJP senior leader and former Dy CM J&K Kavinder Gupta and Inderjeet Sharma (Org Secretary Jammu District) were also present.
Kavinder Gupta, in his address, asked the BJP cadre to bolster the party at booth level to ensure a resounding victory in all the ensuing political battles in the Union Territory, especially the upcoming Assembly polls. He laid stress on strengthening organizational setup to the hilt so that the party’s triumph at all the political contests could be ensured in the coming future. He asked the party workers to disseminate information about Modi Government’s flagship schemes among the common masses so that doubts if any can be warded off timely leaving no scope for the opposition parties to take undue benefits by swaying people by misleading them.
In his presidential address, Vinay asked BJP workers to act as a “bridge of faith” between the party and the ordinary man. He encouraged party workers to launch a massive door-to-door campaign- “Booth Sampark Abhiyan”, across the Jammu district. Through this family connect programme, the BJP has targeted to touch maximum families across the J&K, he added.
Inderjeet Sharma said that it is important to bring the voter to the polling booth and efforts should be made by the party workers to meet this challenge with utmost ease through strong resolve and conviction. He also said that there is a need to strengthen the support base and take it to another level in the ensuing poll season.
Ankush Gupta General Secretary District Jammu, Narinder Koki District Secretary, Rohin Chandan Social Media Secretary Jammu District, Mandal General Secretaries Nayan Gupta, Surjeet Singh, Gandhi Nagar Mandal office bearers and Shakti Kendra Pramukhs and Booth Presidents attended the meeting.
