JAMMU, Dec 3: BJP Displaced District general secretary Virender Kuchroo has demanded that immediate steps be taken to implement the PM’s employment package hanging in balance since 2008.
In a statement issued here, today he said that previous Government both at Centre and in the State played a truant with the community on the name of package as out of 6000 posts only 2000 posts were filled up under the package and delaying tactics were adopted to sabotage it.
He expressed the hope that with the determination shown by BJP coalition will implement the package in letter and spirit on war footing basis so that the deserving displaced youth could get justice.
Kuchroo  demanded that the interviews of candidates for social worker and other posts be held at Jammu instead of Kashmir and SSB should issue a notification immediately in this regard.
He demanded that the migrant youth be also provided jobs in Central government departments, the PM package employees should be provided accommodation in Valley and these employees should be posted in the five km radios of their residence.
Further he demanded soft loans for over-aged youth and problems of displaced Pandits be redressed on war footing basis.
