BJP for peace, prosperity, development: Jasrotia

KATHUA, Dec 5: Saying that the State under the coalition rule has witnessed all round development, BJP State general secretary and MLA Kathua Constituency, Rajiv Jasrotia has exhorted upon the people to strengthen the hands of coalition Govt to take the State on the new heights of progress.
He was addressing a public meeting at village Mai Chak. MLA on this ocassion announced 3 Hand Pumps, lane and drains and other developmental work along with Sarpanch Suraj Mehta, Chairman Gopal Sharma, Jagdish Singh Wasim Akram, Kandi Mandal Pardhan BJP, Kulwant Singh, Jagdish Singh, Guljar Ahmed, Ravi Mehta and all Villagers.
He said that the tenure of coalition government so far has witnessed large scale development. MLA said that BJP always worked for the welfare and upliftment of common masses and fought for their legitimate rights. He assured that new phase of development will be started in Kathua constituency as the party gives the priority to peace, prosperity and development of the State.
Jasrotia assured that the spree of development in the constituency will continue with same pace.Without naming any political party, he said that some of the political parties are exploiting the poor people and down trodden sections of the society by showing them such dreams, which they cannot fulfill. He added that these divisive forces are dream sellers and hollow slogan mongers as the leaders of these parties are power liking leaders.
Reiterating coalition government’s commitment to provide better civic amenities to the people, he said that massive development activities have been launched across the State to ensure safe drinking water, better sewerage, lanes and drains andhygienic surroundings in every nook and corner of the State. He asked the people to personally monitor the quality of ongoing development works in their respective areas adding that need for public involvement in the developmental activities and said that without their cooperation the objective of the Government of taking State’s development tempo to new highs cannot be achieved. MLA said an effective monitoring mechanism has been put in place to enforce accountability and transparency in the implementation of developmental schemes.
