POONCH, Dec 9: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held an organizational meeting of the Poonch district, here, today which chaired by party general secretary (Org), Ashok Koul.
Meeting was also addressed by general secretary, Gopal Mahajan, district president, Poonch, Gurdeep Singh Khalsa, Seh Prabhari, Rajesh Raina, former MLC, Pardeep Sharma, president ST Morcha, Ch. Abdul Ghani and former district president, Mohd. Chishti.
The meeting was attended by district office bearers, Mandal presidents and general secretaries, Morcha representatives, and senior party workers across the district.
Ashok Koul laid out an extensive organizational roadmap aimed at deepening the party’s reach and strengthening structural coordination. He emphasized that BJP’s biggest asset is its disciplined and committed cadre, which acts as the backbone of the party’s growth. Calling for closer synergy between district units, mandals, and Morchas, he asked the party leaders to intensify their on-ground engagement.
Ashok Koul highlighted the significance of ongoing national programmes under the vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat, noting that these initiatives reflect the Government’s result-oriented governance model. He informed that Sushasan Diwas on December 25 would be marked across every booth with meaningful public participation, making it an occasion to reinforce the party’s service-oriented approach.
Gopal Mahajan appreciated the persistent efforts of the party cadre in Poonch and called for more cohesive functioning at all levels. He asked for strengthening booth-level mechanisms in the adjoining regions, encouraging teams to expand public contact and highlight the BJP’s development-driven narrative.
Gurdeep Singh Khalsa praised the active involvement of local activists and reiterated the commitment to fortify booth committees and improve the delivery of welfare schemes.
Pardeep Sharma underscored the Government’s consistent focus on social welfare, infrastructure growth, and inclusive development.
