SAMBA June 7: In the crisis of Corona, inflation has increased. The effect of this inflation is on the kitchen and pocket of the common people. The prices of household items have increased along with petrol and diesel. The consumers are not getting even the subsidy of LPG and the prices are increasing every day. This was stated by former Minister, Yashpal Kundal in a press conference here, today.
Yashpal Kundal said that BJP, which once danced in the streets when there was a gas cylinder for Rs 400, is today talking of the development forgetting that gas cylinder has reached Rs 1000. BJP leaders are boasting of the development when the price of diesel and petrol has reached near Rs 100 per liter, he added.
Kundal said that when the Assembly elections were held in Jammu and Kashmir in 2014, people believed in the BJP and voted for the party, but the BJP did not fulfill the promises made to the masses.
Accusing the BJP of breach of promise, Kundal said that the party did not live up to the expectations of the people.
Kundal said that the BJP was neither able to stop inflation, nor could it solve the problem of unemployment. Daily wagers of Electricity Department, daily wagers of PHE Department, Anganwadi workers, employees of NHM etc. have been performing continuously for the last many years to ensure that they are safe bt the BJP ignored them too.
Kundal said that during the Corona period, people here expected the relief package from the BJP Government, but instead of giving relief to the people, the BJP Government is bent on snatching their land. Kundal said that these people have been working on the land for the last 70 years, and now they should get the right on the same.
Kundal said that today farmers are on the roads, people are getting sand and gravel at expensive prices to build houses.
The BJP Government, which showed the dream of Rs 15 lakh be provided to each family, took away whatever the people had in the name of tax. He said that the Panthers Party will continue to struggle for the peoples rights.
