JAMMU, Apr 19: Countering the allegations and fabricated narratives by BJP leaders, Rattan Lal Gupta, NC provincial president flayed BJP for doing politics of falsehood.
Reacting to the recent statements by a BJP leader, Gupta said: “BJP thrives on fake and fabricated narrative.”
Taking a strong exception to the reference made to former RAW chief A.S Dulat’s recent book, Rattan Lal said that BJP is deliberately twisting facts to suit their agenda.
“Dulat himself has publicly clarified and denied making any such statement on abrogation of Article 370,” he maintained reiterating that NC’s stance has always been consistent and unambiguous.
“Our motto has always been clear—restoration of Article 370 and the special rights of the people of J&K,” the NC leader said.
Questioning BJP’s doublespeak, he reiterated the demand of Statehood restoration as promised by PM Modi and Union Home Minister.
The NC leader further said that people of J&K are well aware of BJP’s duplicity.
