JAMMU, Feb 29: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district Jammu South will be using suggestion boxes to gather public opinion during Parliamentary polls to obtain the record number of seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
This was stated by former Deputy CM, Kavinder Gupta and party district Jammu South, president, Rekha Mahajan while launching Sankalp Patra suggestion campaign here, today.
The programme was held under the leadership of district president Jammu South, Rekha Mahajan, former Dy CM Kavinder Gupta, Prabhari Jammu South, Ayodhya Gupta, former Dy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Seh Prabhari Jammu North, Vinay Gupta, district general secretaries Akash Chopra and Pushpinder Charak and other senior leaders launched “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Patra”.
Rekha Mahajan said the BJP will also display special numbers for online suggestions for Sankalp Patra. The BJP Jammu South senior leaders also launched a mobile number 9090902024, on which any person can give suggestions to the party.
Kavinder Gupta and Rekha Mahajan launched the programme ‘Sankalp Patra Suggestion Campaign’ and developed India Modi’s Guarantee Campaign’ in Jammu South. Referring to the launch programme of the campaign, Kavinder and Rekha emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the vision of a developed India, self-reliant India, and world-friendly India is coming true.
Kavinder Gupta said the Central Government has launched the drive to ensure that welfare schemes reach the grassroots level and directly benefit the people of Union Territory of J&K. He asserted the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra now embraces all regions, reaching communities at the farthest corners of the country. He highlighted the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is more than just a march. The efforts made today to bring about change, promise a prosperous future ahead.
Rekha Mahajan recounted that the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” has offered a powerful platform for informing the people about various Government schemes. A substantial number of beneficiaries have been sharing stories under Meri Kahani, the Meri Zubani component of the Yatra narrating heart-touching stories of change in their lives after taking benefits of Centrally sponsored schemes.
