NEW DELHI: The BJP in the Lok Sabha today urged the Government to accord ‘martyr’ status to jawans who are killed in accidents in the line of duty.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, BJP member Dharambir Singh said the ‘martyr’ status should also be granted to the jawans who lost their lives during road accidents, air crash and other accidents.
