BJP, Cong, NC, others condemn Fidayeen attack on Army camp

JAMMU, Aug 11: Various political parties have strongly condemned the terrorist attack on an Army Post in Darhal area of Rajouri district this morning.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary, Tarun Chug today condemned the attack on a forces camp in Rajouri area of Jammu.
“ I Strongly condemn terror attack on Army camp in Rajouri village. My deepest condolences to the families of martyrs and prayers for the early recovery of the injured. Our security forces will give a befitting reply to perpetrators of despicable attacks,” he said.
These attackers originating from Pakistan reflect the evil designs of our enemies towards peace and development of the region established by pro-people policies of PM Narendra Modi, he added.
Congress party while, strongly condemning the terrorist attack has expressed shock over the loss of three jawans besides injuries to three others.
Lauding the Army and security forces for eliminating the two terrorists involved in the attack, the party saluted the bravery and valour of the jawans martyred and injured in the encounter.
JKPCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma termed the attack as a cowardly act and said that the terrorists and their mentors will not succeed in their nefarious designs. He said it is disturbing that the terrorists were spotted in suspicious circumstances in the Darhal town two days back and still succeeded in carrying out the attack.
Apni Party has expressed sympathy with the family members of the brave hearts of the Indian Army who gave supreme sacrifice while fighting the terrorists during the attack on Army camp in Darhal, Rajouri. The party also strongly condemned the attack and termed it an attempt to destablise the peaceful atmosphere in J&K.
The party said it will continue to oppose those elements who are hell bent to destablise peaceful atmosphere in J&K.
Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has also strongly condemned the attack on the army camp in Darhal Rajouri and expressed deep sympathy with the families of army jawans who attained martyrdom in the attack. The party provincial president , Capt (retd) Anil Gour in a statement said that the Government should change its strategy in dealing with infiltration and start taking pre=-emptive measures to frustrate the designs of enemy.
Former Minister and president Central Zone JKNC, Babu Rampaul along with office bearers of Central Zone of NC strongly condemned the attack on a security forces camp in Rajouri district. The party leaders paid glowing tributes to army men who attained martyrdom in the attack and Babu Rampaul also conveyed his deep sympathies to bereaved families of the brave hearts who laid their lives while protecting integrity of the country.
Senior National Conference (NC) leader and president Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), Pirpanjal , Javed Ahmed Rana and Zeeshan Rana additional spokesman NC have also expressed deep shock and concern over the terrorist attack on Army camp in Rajouri.
Terming it a dastardly act, Rana conveyed his deep condolences with bereaved families of the martyred personnel and praised the valour of security personnel in thwarting the dangerous plans of the terrorists at the behest of a rouge country.
The NC leader said that the attack taking place a few days before the Independence Day points out the Union and UT Government’s failure in containing terrorism in J&K and infiltration of Fidayeen from across the border. He termed the attack on army camp a major security lapse and intelligence failure.
