JAMMU, Mar 6: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today asserted that Jammu and Kashmir has been marching on the path of development as a result of BJP Government’s initiatives focusing on launching new infra-development projects and reviving long-pending ones lying dormant for several decades by removing the obstacles, through ensuring effective and transparent administration.
This was stated by senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta while launching development work at Sector 5, Trikuta Nagar, Ward Number 54, here, with an estimated cost of Rs 40 lakhs.
The development work was started in presence of District President Vinay Gupta, Corporator and BJP Mandal President Neeraj Lucky Puri, District General Secretary Ankush Gupta, District Secretary Narinder Koki, General Secretary Nayan Gupta, Secretaries Kapil Khurana and Vishal Gupta, KK Arora and many others.
Addressing the gathering, Kavinder Gupta said that the way the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Government has ensured expeditious and time-bound completion of various development projects and implementation of various welfare schemes in J&K it seems that the agenda of BJP is synonymous to people’s aspirations as nothing has been lingered on to shift the responsibility to any upcoming government.
He said instead of talking about big things the BJP leadership is focusing on local issues which can make a big difference in the lives of people. Kavinder said that BJP is the only Government in the Centre which is committed to provide equitable development of Jammu and Kashmir.
