JAMMU, Jan 4: As part of its ongoing efforts to reinforce party organization at the grassroot level, the Jammu & Kashmir BJP convened an organizational review meeting of party functionaries from Akhnoor and Samba organizational districts.
The meeting was addressed by J&K BJP president and Rajya Sabha (RS) MP Sat Sharma CA, BJP general secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul, and Lok Sabha MP, Jugal Kishore Sharma. Senior leaders, elected representatives, and prominent party office-bearers from both Akhnoor and Samba districts were present. The meeting was also attended by J&K BJP general secretaries, Sanjita Dogra and Baldev Singh Billawaria.
While addressing party leaders, Sat Sharma CA reiterated the BJP’s unwavering resolve to promote balanced development, lasting peace, and economic progress in both urban and rural regions, guided by the transformative leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He urged the cadre to consolidate the party’s organizational framework at the booth and Mandal levels and ensure that the welfare initiatives and developmental milestones of the Modi Government reach every family. He highlighted that active involvement of grassroot workers along with respected figures from local communities would further strengthen BJP’s bond with the people.
Ashok Koul undertook a detailed assessment of party activities conducted in recent months and reviewed upcoming programmes in Akhnoor and Samba. He emphasized the importance of organizational discipline, effective coordination among party wings, and punctual implementation of assigned responsibilities. He also examined prevailing socio-political conditions in both districts and instructed leaders to formulate area-specific strategies to address local challenges.
Jugal Kishore Sharma affirmed that the BJP continues to take-up the issues related to infrastructure development, public security, education, employment opportunities, and overall regional growth. He called upon party leaders to intensify public engagement initiatives so that citizens’ concerns are meaningfully reflected in governance, while also countering misinformation and the deceptive narratives propagated by opposition parties.
