JAMMU, June 13: A rally was organised by Durga Mandal of BJP Kashmir Displaced District in collaboration with BJYM KDD led by Makhan Lal Bhat, vIce president, KDD today at Press Club here demanding providing of security to the Sarpanches, Panches , counselors , corporators and chairmen belonging to the minority community working in Valley as well to the non migrant KPs and other minorities who are residing there since 1990 and did not migrate.
While addressing the media, Ajay Bharti, spokesperson BJP J&K UT and EX MLC urged the administration to thwart the nefarious designs of inimical forces who are bent upon disturbing the atmosphere in Kashmir and trying to create hurdles in the return move of Kashmiri Pandits to Valley. He further appealed Government to provide security to minority Panches , Sarpanches , counselors , corporators , chairpersons working in Kashmir and who are under threat forthwith as well to those Kashmiri Pandits and other minorities who are permanently living there since 1990 keeping in view present scenario while referring to the recent killing of Ajay Bharti Sarpanch. He, while strongly condemning the killing of Bharti said his and the sacrifices of other martyrs will not go waste.
