JAMMU, Oct 4: Digging up the political history of the Congress during the election campaign today, former Minister and MLA Raipur-Domana, Bali Bhagat said the party ditched its own leaders who questioned the family rule. He while launching a scathing attack on Congress said the party is an empire that can only be ruled by single dynasty.
While addressing a public gathering in Ward No. 67, Bali Bhagat said, “Congress has now abandoned all shame.
Alleging the Congress of not doing anything for the Other Backward Castes (OBCs), the Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs), Bhagat said, “all the previous governments did not do anything for these communities. As soon as BJP Government was formed at the Centre in 2014, it granted Constitutional status to the OBC Commission but Congress had halted that bill in the Rajya Sabha.
Bhagat further said democracy provides for a potent system and methodology to keep checks and balances in place and ensures that potential abuse of power by the Government is curbed through effective opposition where the Congress has failed.
