JAMMU, Aug 1: The 74th birthday of His Holiness Dr K Krishna was celebrated with great devotion and fervour at a function organized by Spiritual Awareness Society here today.
A large number of people on motorcars, motorcycles and scooters in the shape of a procession lead their Holy Master to the venue of the function and enroute Dr K Krishna was accorded standing ovation by his disciples who showered flower petals amid raising of slogans in praise of their spiritual master.
In his message Dr K Krishna said that he was on a very special mission with the firm conviction to make the masses completely free from all type of exploitation in the name of religion and social justice. Although, he said, his admirers are celebrating his birthday, but it is a realized fact that he was never born.
Pleading for chanting of “Aum”, he said, it was not for a particular community or man made religions but for all who have to get their minds fully connected and become one with Soul.
Mr Ajay Sadhotra, secretary general of the Society highlighted the role played by SAS in educating the masses, fighting ignorance in the name of religion and Karm Kands. He thanked the devotees who had come from different parts of the country to participate in the function.
Mr Satish Sahni, National Press Secretary-cum stage secretary introduced Dr K Krishna to the Satsangis and explained his aims for establishing SAS and prayed for the long happy life of Dr K Krishna. The function started and concluded with chanting of ‘AUM’.
