JAMMU, May 9: In connection with the celebration of 131st birth anniversary of Bharat Ratan Dr. B.R Ambedkar, an event was organised by Shri Guru Ravidass SS Trust/Society at Sikanderpur Kothey under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Sant Gurdip Giri Ji Maharaj.
Thousands of devotees from different places took part in the event in which speeches and debates were given by children on the life of Dr. Ambedkar.
Sant Gurdip Giri delivered spiritual sermon and talked about the life of Dr. Ambedkar.
He stressed upon the gathering to be educated, organised and agitated to form unity and shun the path of violence, hate and social-evils.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were C.L Banal, chairman; Natha Ram Angural, Kesar Singh, Dr. D.D Shivgotra, Banarsi Dass and others.
