JAMMU, Aug 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu Kashmir general secretary and former Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria released the devotional song “Sona Maiya Da Dwara Hai”. The song is dedicated to the glory of Maa Chandi and is sung by sweet-voiced singer Monika Slathia, while the lyrics of the Bhajan has been written by Shivani Tak, music by Lucky Verma and the song has been recorded at Rhythm Music Bar Studio.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that “The entire team deserves congratulations for this wonderful Bhajan song and I wish them a bright future.”
He said that an attempt has been made to convey the message of power and compassion of Maa Chandi to the general public through the devotional song. “Sona Maiya Da Dwara Hai” not only awakens religious sentiments but also reflects the depth and spirituality of Indian culture. Billawaria said, “Devotion to Maa Chandi is the source of strength and courage in our lives. This song will become a source of inspiration for everyone.” He said that in Jammu and Kashmir, devotional songs of gods and goddesses are played during every religious ritual or ceremony whether it is Jagrata, Langar, Seva, Puja or other religious rituals.
Billawaria hoped that young singers should reach out to the people through songs about the traditional values and centuries-old heritage of Jammu city. He also said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir should also support and encourage local artists so that they can move forward and touch new heights.
He further said that this effort of Rhythm Bar Music has given a new form to devotional music, which will also promote religious rites among the youth. Singer Monika Slathia said that this song is available on YouTube channel and is worth listening.
