JAMMU, Sept 8: Chairman Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria, upgraded the 100 KVA transformer to 250 KVA at Pandita Mohalla, Gangyal in Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Billawaria said that a deputation of people from Pandita Mohalla said that the transformer in their area has burnt down again and the people of the area were demanding that the transformer be upgraded. Billawaria on the basis of the demand of the people took up the issue with the PDD and got 250 KVA transformer installed in the area instead of 100KVA.
The transformer was inaugurated by Billawaria In presence of local people of the area who complimented him for taking pains in getting the problem solved.
Ranjit Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Mulakh Raj, Vipan Verma, Raj Kumar, Charan Das, Daljit Singh Sambyal, Sunny Sharma, Sonu Jamwal, Kuldeep Sharma, Kewal Singh were also present on the occasion.
