JAMMU, Apr 13: Talab Tillo police arrested a biker along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, a team from Talab Tillo police post during patrolling intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AL-7107.
During checking, police recovered 72 pouches of illicit liquor concealed in a bag and arrested the biker.
The accused has been identified as Neeraj Singh Chib, son of Balbir Singh of Gho Manhasan.
He was carrying the illicit liquor pouches to his native village for selling among the people to gain illegitimate profits.
A case under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Nowabad and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Talab Tillo police post SI Rahul Mahajan made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Nowabad police station Inspector Raghubir Singh, SDPO West Sugandha Mahajan and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
