MENDHAR, Sept 11: The family members and neighbours foiled an attempt of two masked men to abduct a 11-year-old boy from village Narsoo in Gursai area of district Poonch this evening.
The incident took place at around 7 pm when the boy- Abid Khan, son of Mohd Rafiq was in his compound. Two masked men who were hiding in the nearby maize fields suddenly appeared and tried to kidnap the boy. A bid screamed and the family members raised alarm. They came out with lathis and the neighbours also rushed. The masked men escaped leaving behind the boy. Later, the incident was reported to Gursai police which registered a case and started investigation.
