JAMMU, Apr 9: Bhim Kranti Sena, J&K, today announced that it will organize a grand car and bike rally on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 10:30 AM, to mark the 135th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar.
The rally will commence from Mishriwala and proceed through Domana, Patoli, Muthi, Shakti Nagar, Science College, Shri Guru Ravidass Ji Chowk, and Bikram Chowk to Dr BR Ambedkar Chowk on Railway Station Road. It will culminate at this Chowk with paying tributes to the statue of Dr Ambedkar.
The rally is being organized to celebrate the life, legacy, and immense contributions of Dr Ambedkar, who is regarded as the architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice. The organization has extended a warm invitation to people from all sections of society to participate in large number and pay tributes to this great leader and social reformer.
Addressing a press conference, BKS president, Parshotam Thapa and convenor Dr Shashi Bhusan Thapa emphasized that the rally aims to promote unity, equality, and awareness about Dr Ambedkar’s vision. They also issued clear instructions that any individual found indulging in indiscipline or raising communal or objectionable slogans will be held personally responsible, and strict action will be taken by the administration.
The organizers reiterated their commitment to conducting the rally in a peaceful and disciplined manner, urging participants to uphold the values of harmony and respect while celebrating the enduring legacy of Dr Ambedkar.
The conference was also attended by other office bearers – Ajay Thappa, S K Thapa, Toni Ghai, Himmat Kumar, Romesh Angural and social activist, Deepak Bangotra.
