LEH, Feb 12: Founder President of the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC), Ladakh, Bhikkhu Sanghasena, delivered a message of global peace from the iconic Khardong La Pass, calling for collective efforts to promote harmony and compassion across the world.

Speaking from the high-altitude pass, he paid tribute to Buddhist monks in the United States who are completing a Peace Walk aimed at spreading the message of non-violence, unity and universal brotherhood.
He praised their dedication and described their journey as an inspiring step towards awakening humanity to the values of peace and compassion.
Bhikkhu Sanghasena said such initiatives remind people that lasting peace begins with inner transformation and a shared sense of responsibility. He stressed that individuals must work towards nurturing compassion in their daily lives.
Appealing to people of all nations, cultures and faiths, he urged them to unite in the spirit of understanding and kindness. He emphasized the need to promote dialogue over division and to stand together in service of humanity.
The message from Khardong La, one of the world’s highest motorable passes, served as a strong appeal to the global community to contribute in every possible way towards building a peaceful and harmonious world.
