JAMMU, Feb 11: To spread the agitation for restoration of SDH in its old complex, Bhaderwah Hospital Bachao has begun mass contact programme.
Front organized it first meeting at Mlanu which was visited by the seven member committee, headed by Ranbir Manhas and comprising Ch Iqbal, Raj Singh Charak, Nazir Hussain Khan, Badri Nath Bhardwaj and Ramneek Singh.
Justifying the demand of the Front to restore the SDH in its old complex, Kotwal Kirshan Lal claimed that it was not the demand of few people sitting over a dharna for past five months but aspiration of all Bhadarwahis whether living in villages or in the town.
Unless the new Hospital is fully equipped, opening it for patients would be an unwise decision, he said adding that the patients have no problem to go to the new hospital if they are referred to it for better treatment, but for small ailments that can be cured in the old hospital as going to Dandi is problematic.
A Panchayat level committee of the BHBF was also constituted, which will launch a door to door campaign to spread the message of the Front among common masses with the executive body comprising Kotwal Krishan Lal, Ved Raj Sharma, Umesh Sharma, Kotwal Fulail Chand, Kulwant Chowhan, Tek Chand Sharma, Inder Kumar, Swami Raj Bharti, Ashok Kumar, Hans Raj Bharti, Rani Devi, Naresh Kumar, Prithi Raj, Sudedar Om Prakash, Swami Raj Punwara, Mohinder Kumar, Mahipal, Narinder Kumar, Shanti Prakash, Satish Kumar, Shib Ram, Bishan Lal, Jodh Ram and Rattan Chand,
