JAMMU, July 21: Vidya Bharti State unit Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti (BSS) J&K organised its Annual General Council meeting in Bhaorao Devras Auditorium of BVM Senior Secondary School, Ambphalla. The meeting was inaugurated by Vijay Nadda, organising secretary of Vidya Bharti Uttar Kshetar in the presence of Bal Kishan joint organising secretary and Prabhari J&K, Purshotam Dadheechi, Sampark Adhikari, Dr. Vikrant Sharma Prant Seh Sanghchalak, Ved Bhushan Sharma, president Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti, Koshal Zutshi, senior vice president, Satish Mittal, Hari Bhushan, vice president’s, Dr. Naresh Kumar Sharma, general secretary, Hari Saran, joint secretary along with all Prant Samiti members.
Sameer Krishan Saproo, presented welcome address. The annual report was read by Dr. Naresh K Sharma general secretary in which he highlighted the achievements of 39 schools run by Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K. Ram Kumar Koushal, Prant Sanyojak Lekhkar presented the annual budget of the society.
The programme was attended by more than 100 general body members including Leh and Kargil along with all principals. The main speaker urged the members to spread the message of Vidya Bharti in all corners of the J&K and Ladakh including all Government and private schools.
He also reiterated our motive should be nation first. The elections for new president for 2025-28 were held under the Election Commissioner, Ajit Kumar Sharma retd. Joint Director Education and Purshotam Dadheechi, retd. Additional Secretary Law Department J&K Government was elected president for 2025-28 by majority vote. He nominated the Working Committee for next three years. Vijay Nadda laid the thrust on classroom teaching by innovative methods which must be child centric and activity based. He also requested all the members to share fruitful ideas and arrange the programmes in all adjoining villages and wards of towns in which the schools are established with main thrust on aim of Vidya Bharti.
He said that ex students and teachers must be involved in this process so that our main aim of developing the society and helping the common man by innovative ideas and rich culture of the nation.
