SRINAGAR, July 9: India’s biggest development and innovation exhibition, ‘Bharat Sanrachana – Jammu and Kashmir 2025’, is set to begin at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) tomorrow.
In this regard, Member of Parliament Ghulam Ali Khatana addressed a press conference, briefing about the motive of the exhibition, which will continue till July 12.
“It is a remarkable initiative that brings together the diverse developmental efforts of various Government of India departments under one platform,” he said.
He added that the exhibition serves as a testament to the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and the Prime Minister’s commitment to inclusive growth, especially in regions like Jammu & Kashmir.
“The schemes and policies showcased here-from scientific advancements by ISRO and DRDO, to rural and infrastructure development by NHPC, THDC, and the Ministry of Textiles, to agricultural innovations by ICAR and APEDA-demonstrate how the central government is working relentlessly to empower every citizen,” he said.
The exhibition, he added, also reflects the transformative impact of flagship initiatives on the ground, including in remote and aspirational districts of Jammu & Kashmir.
He further stated that such exhibitions not only spread awareness about government schemes but also strengthen people’s participation in nation-building.
“This is a platform of opportunity, learning, and vision. I congratulate the organisers and all participating ministries for making this a gateway to India’s development story,” he said.

With free entry for all, the exhibition is specially designed for students, youth, women entrepreneurs, and local representatives of Jammu and Kashmir.
