KATHUA, Dec 18: MLA Kathua, Dr. Bharat Bhushan today dedicated three macadamized roads to people of Kathua aggregating to Rs one crore.
He first Inaugurated the black topping work in Ward No 3 Shiv Puri Kathua which has been constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 8 lakh. This stretch of the road has never been constructed and was a source of insanitation and infections. The residents of the area have been demanding since many years for taking up this work and after execution will benefit residents of Ward No.3 Shiv Puri Kathua.
The MLA later inaugurated macadamization work of road from Police Post, Hatli Morh to Railway road executed at an estimated cost of Rs 22 lakh. This facility will benefit the thousands of workers of Industrial Estate Kathua and Railways passengers of Kathua who use this road daily.
The MLA also inaugurated macadamizaton work of road stretching from Hatli Morh to Kalibari. This macadamization work of over five kms stretch has covered pot holes and other damaged portion of this road which is the lifeline of Kathua town.
Avinash Gupta, AEE PWD, Rahul Dev Sharma, City Mandal Pardhan, Suman Bala, Lakhanpur Mandal Pardhan , Sanjana Jamwal, Ravinder Pathania, Ashok Jasrotia, Ashok Sharma, Manjeet Jasrotia, Deepak Sharma, Bhanu Partap, Amit Sudan, Jatinder Bharti, employees of PWD and local residents of these areas were present on those occasions.
