JAMMU, Dec 31: On the eve of New Year, Pracheen Kaal Bhairav temple in the heart of city here organized a special Pooja for world peace and progress with healthy mankind free from all diseases.
It is pertinent to mention here that the year 2020 marred with deadly Coronavirus pandemic which killed lakhs of people across the world and infected many more besides putting the world to heavy economic losses.
Addressing a press conference here today Pandit Rumil Sharma said the special Pooja was in continuation with the Ruder Abhishek ritual performed on December 7 this year and it will culminate tomorrow evening.
“A special Aarti will be performed tomorrow evening to invoke the blessings of Shri Kaal Bhairav Dev Ji for the good health of mankind in coming year,” Rumil Sharma told reporters extending thanks to the concerned authorities and general public for successful celebrations of Shri Kaal Bhairav Ashtami amidst COVID-19 pandemic.
He also said that the devotees displayed prudence by maintaining the protocol of social distancing and wearing face masks during the Ashtami.
