JAMMU, Nov 4: Mahant, Rumil Sharma of Pracheen Bhairav Mandir at Chowk Chabutra area in the heart of Jammu city has stated that Bhairav Ashtami is falling on November 16 this year and there shall be different programmes in this regard.
In a handout he stated that a bikers rally is being organised in this regard on November 6, 2022 (Sunday) at 10 am which will start from the temple and will move through different places in the city and its adjoining areas and will culminate back at the temple.
“Purpose of the rally is to inform the public about the upcoming Bhairav Ashtami on November 16, 2022 which is an annual festival organised by the temple,” he maintained, adding that there shall be a Bhandara on November 17 and on November 10 the temple will organise Peer-Fakir Bhandara at 1 pm.
Sharma further said that apart from this a Jagran is also being organised by the temple authorities on November 14 from 8 pm onwards wherein popular local singer Sonali Dogra will recite devotional songs.
“Also there will be congregation of 52 Biradaries on November 16 from 4 am to late night and Bhandara will be there throughout the day and night,” the Mahant further said.
The organisers have invited people from across the Jammu to join the celebrations and get blessed by Bhairav Dev Ji.
