BFDC demands constitution of Shrine Board for Bawe Wali Mata temple

JAMMU, Oct 12: Bahu Fort Development Committee (BFDC) has demanded constitution of Shrine Board for Bawe Wali Mata temple.
Addressing a press conference, President BFDC Rajeev Charak said that they started their campaign for constitution of Shrine Board for Bawe Wali Mata temple in 1997.
He further said that since 1997 to till now, BFDC held protests, campaigns and press meets demanding constitution of Shrine Board for Bawe Wali Mata temple, but our demand has been put on back burner.
He informed that concerned departments, Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner framed Shrine Bill and give their consents for the constitution of Shrine Board for Bawe Wali Mata temple.
Charak appealed to the Governor Satya Pal Malik to consider their demand on merits and in the interest of public at large pass the order for the constitution of Shrine Board.
“If the Shrine Board is constituted, many developmental works will take place which will generate employment for the youth and also benefits other sectors of society like hotel business, tour and travel business, etc.
Ishant Gupta, Spokesman BFDC said that they have launch hashtag #shrineboard4bawetemple and to gather the support for shrine globally. He appealed people to post their views and video massages on social media regarding constitution of Shrine Board for Bawe Wali Mata temple using #shrineboard4bawetemple.
Raghav Mahajan General Secretary BFDC said that if their demand is not considered within a week, then they will launch agitation.
Among others present were Raghav Mahajan, Advocate Ishant Gupta, Ishant Mahajan, Rahul Kumar, Er Darshan Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, Gulshan Hakkal, Simran Gupta and Ragunandan Charak.
