VIJAYPUR, May 13: SBI R-Seti, Samba, training programme on beauty parlour for women was conducted by the institute for 30 Days and a similar beauty parlour management programme was also conducted at Bantalab, which concluded today.
In Vijaypur, 27 female candidates of different villages of Samba district participated. DDM, NABARD, Samba S Surinder Singh was the chief guest during valediction function.
Rajesh Sharma, Director of the institute lauded the role of SBI-RSETI Samba in imparting training to unemployed rural female trainees enabling them to earn their livelihood by setting up their own units and lead a life of respect and dignity.
The certificates of participation were handed over to the participants by the chief guest and FLCC S L Sharma.
The working kits were also distributed by the Institute among participants, so that, they could start earning immediately.
Meanwhile, a similar beauty parlour management programme was conducted by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI) Jammu concluded at Bantalab, Jammu, in which 24 women candidates from different parts of Jammu District participated.
On this occasion, a small but impressive function was organized in which certificates of participation were distributed by K S Raina, Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu. Raina interacted with the candidates and guided them for taking self employment and to work as a professional as the professionalism is the key to success.
Director, RSETI, Virender Kumar Sood maintained that many training programmes were covered depending upon local requirements and programmes like -cutting & tailoring, AC & refrigeration, electrical home appliance, computer basics, soft toys making, beauty parlour management, mobile repair, computer hardware & DTP etc.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Mohinder Kumar, Counselor Financial Literacy Centre, Jammu, who guided the candidates about various financial schemes and motivated them to start their own ventures.
