SRINAGAR, Aug 8: Block Development Officer (BDO) Devsar, Arif Ayaz Dar has been placed under suspension with immediate effect for allegedly comprising the principles of transparency, accountability and governance.
According to an order in this regard, Mr Dar shall remain attached with the office of Assistant Commissioner Development, Kulgam, who shall inquire into the matter and furnish report along with recommendations to the Directorate of Rural Development Kashmir.
As per the order, Mr Dar allegedly acted in violation of the established financial and administrative procedures. He signed blank work authorities under MGNREGA thereby compromising the principles of transparency, accountability and responsible governance.
