BCCI appoints Pawan Sharma as Strength & Conditioning Coach

JAMMU, Aug 7: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Poonch boy Pawan Sharma as Strength and Conditioning Coach for National Cricket Camp of Under-19 boys, being held at National Cricket Academy Chinnaswamy International Cricket Stadium, Bangalore.
The Camp is being organised by the BCCI in collaboration with National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Hailing from border district of Poonch, Mr Pawan, son of late Sham Lal Sharma, retired SAI Hockey Coach is the only BCCI-NCA qualified strength and conditioning coach from J&K.
From the last four year he was appointed for the same job for Zonal Cricket Academy (ZCA) Camps and this time for National Camp.
Talking to EXCELSIOR, Pawan while attributing his success to his late father, assured of working hard to achieve more success in this profession.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pawan has the distinction of accompanying  JKCA Ranji Trophy and Under-23 teams as Strength and Conditioning Coach since 2011.
