JAMMU, Nov 18: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has demanded extension of Rehabilitation Scheme for the Industrial Sector by the Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
The issue was raised by the BBIA when Rakesh Magotra, General Manager J&K Bank, Hqr, Srinagar along with officers visited Bari Brahmana Industries Association office for an interaction with their office bearers.
The meeting was attended by Lalit Mahajan president, Tarun Singla, senior vice president, Ajay Langer vice president, Viraaj Malhotra general secretary, Rajesh Jain- secretary, Rishi Kant Gupta -treasurer and other members of BBIA.
During interaction Lalit Mahajan, president BBIA raised the issue related to extension of Rehabilitation Package for Industrial Sector upto March 31, 2026, enhancement in the valuation of Industrial land, non-acceptance of Bank guarantee by Ministry of Defence, issuance of acknowledgement in respect of premium deducted by the Bank from the employees under Social Security Scheme and other related issues.
Rakesh Magotra, General Manager requested for the implementation of Social Security Scheme for Industrial workers and staff and other related issues and assured that Bank Management will take all necessary steps for the financial assistance to Industrial Sector of J&K. Magotra assured the delegation to resolve the issues on priority basis.
